Design contract of aluminum smelter project with capacity of 320 kt/a is signed between SAMI and Press Metal Bintulu in Malaysia on May 24th, 2011. According to the contract, SAMI will design the aluminum smelter using its advanced and reliable SY400 pot technology, and also take the design of relevant auxiliary facilities into consideration.
